To achieve this, I opted for a clean and non-corporate design, utilizing fonts such as Sentinel and Sharp Sans. Sentinel adds a masculine and tough aesthetic, while Sharp Sans enhances readability. In terms of color, I incorporated shades that are commonly associated with the outdoors and the military, to create a familiar and comforting atmosphere for the veterans who will be accessing the site.
